My daughter cannot bend her big toes.

My daughter had a painful bunion on each foot and had surgery at the age of 19. She had one surgery done in May for one foot and another done in July for the other foot. She had 2 screws placed in each foot. 4 months later, she still had pain in both feet so she went back to the podiatrist and the x-rays showed that a screw had come loose in each foot. Another surgery took place where all the screws were removed. 1 1/2 years later, she has intense pain at times and can't bend her big toes at all. She has gone back to the podiatrist and had follow-up x-rays but he can find nothing wrong. Also she has had 2nd and 3rd opinions and they see nothing wrong on the x-rays either. I don't know where we go now or what to do. I feel helpless when she calls crying from the pain. This has caused her to leave the ROTC program at her college, which she loved. She can't walk all the way across campus either. She is in a lot of pain and is only 21. Any help would be appreciated.

Quag Heel cushions for heel spurs and plantar fasciitis. When your first steps getting out of bed in the mornings cause pain in your heel, you may have plantar fasciitis.
